This Privacy Policy explains how VIJIM LIMITED (collectively, “Ulanzi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our U.S. websites, including https://www.ulanzi.com (the “Site”), mobile experiences, customer support, marketing, and other services we provide (together, the “Services”).
- Brand structure. The Ulanzi and Falcam brands are operated by VIJIM LIMITED. When you interact with a specific brand (e.g., purchase a Joby product), the applicable entity acts as the business responsible for your personal information for that interaction. In many cases, the entities jointly operate shared Site features, customer accounts, and support. This Policy applies to all three brands and describes our practices for U.S. consumers.

1) Notice at Collection (What we collect, why, and how long we keep it)
We collect the following categories of personal information for the purposes and typical retention periods listed below. We do not collect more data than we need for the purposes described.

We do not collect or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. Where law provides a right to limit the use of SPI (e.g., California), we honor that right.
2) The personal information we collect
We collect personal information from:
- You, when you create an account, make a purchase, submit forms, participate in promotions, contact support, or otherwise communicate with us.
- Automatically, via cookies and similar technologies when you use the Site.
- Third parties, such as payment processors, logistics/shipping partners, anti-fraud and risk vendors, analytics and advertising providers, and social networks when you connect with or interact with our pages.
We may combine information from these sources.
3) How we use personal information
We use information for:

4) How we disclose personal information
We disclose personal information to:

Service providers/contractors that process data on our behalf (e.g., payment processors, cloud hosting, logistics, customer support, analytics, advertising, and anti-fraud partners) under contracts restricting their use of the data.

Affiliates (including between VIJIM LIMITED for the purposes described in this Policy. For example, if you create a Site account or purchase across brands, your account and order information may be shared between the entities to operate the Site and fulfill your orders.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties in exchange for money. We may allow certain third parties (e.g., advertising and analytics providers) to collect information via cookies or similar tools on the Site to provide cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. This may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some state laws. You can opt out; see Section 5.
5) Sale/Share/Targeted advertising and your choices

Opt-out of sale/share/targeted advertising. You may opt out by using our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information / Opt Out of Targeted Advertising” controls in our Privacy Center and/or by enabling a recognized opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control) in your browser. When we detect a valid signal, we will apply it to your browser or device for the Site and treat it as a request to opt out of sale/share/targeted advertising for that browser or device.

Limit use of Sensitive Personal Information (CA). Where available, you may limit our use of Sensitive Personal Information to what is reasonably necessary to provide requested services.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
6) Your privacy rights (by state)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, know, confirm, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and opt out of sale/share/targeted advertising and certain profiling. You may also have the right to limit the use of Sensitive Personal Information (e.g., California), and to appeal our decisions (e.g., Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and other states).
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the rights to know/access (including specific pieces), correct, delete, opt out of sale/share, limit use/disclosure of SPI, and to non-discrimination. Our Notice at Collection (Section 1) describes categories, purposes, and retention. We disclose whether we engage in sale/share and how to opt out (Section 5). You may designate an authorized agent to make certain requests on your behalf.
Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Nebraska, Iowa, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws. Residents of these states may have rights similar to those listed above, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling, and an appeals process if we deny your request.
Nevada. Nevada residents may submit a request directing us not to sell their personal information as defined by Nevada law.

We will verify your identity to a reasonable degree appropriate to the request. If you use an authorized agent (where permitted), we may require proof of the agent’s authority and verify your identity directly. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email or contacting us within 30 days; we will review and respond in writing.
For Nevada residents, you may email service@ulanzi.com with the subject line “Nevada Opt-Out Request.”
8) Cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies
We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze usage, personalize content, and deliver/measure advertising. Some cookies are essential for the Site to function. For non-essential cookies, you may manage your preferences via our Cookie Notice and Site controls. You can also use platform tools (e.g., your device settings or browser controls) to limit tracking. Opt-out preference signals enabled in your browser will be honored as described in Section 5.
9) Marketing communications and SMS texts
- Email. You may receive emails about orders, account/service updates, and—if you opt in—about products, offers, and events. You can unsubscribe using the link in the email or via your account settings. We may still send transactional or service messages.

SMS/MMS. If you enroll in our text programs, you consent to receive recurring marketing texts at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. We may confirm your opt-out by sending a final message. We keep records of your consent and preferences as required by law.
10) Data security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure development practices. We also work with payment processors that comply with applicable PCI DSS requirements for processing payment card data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use caution when sharing information online.
11) Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
12) International transfers
We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than where you live, including where VIJIM LIMITED and our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure transfers comply with applicable law. By using the Services, you understand your information may be processed outside your state or country.
13) Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. See the overview table in Section 1; specific retention may vary based on our legal obligations and operational needs.
14) Third‑party links and features
The Services may link to third‑party sites, plug‑ins, or features (e.g., social media). Interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policies of the third parties, not this Policy.
15) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will revise the Effective date at the top and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

U.S. State‑Specific Disclosures
This section supplements the information above and applies to residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Nebraska, Iowa, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, and any other state laws that become effective. Where there are conflicts, the laws of your state control.
(A) Categories of personal information collected (past 12 months)
We have collected the categories listed in Section 1. We collect them from you, automatically from your devices, and from service providers/partners. We use them for the purposes in Section 3 and disclose them as described in Section 4.
(B) Sale/share/targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. We may “share” personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising and engage in “targeted advertising,” as those terms are defined by certain state laws. You may opt out as described in Section 5. We honor valid opt‑out preference signals where required.
(C) Right to limit Sensitive Personal Information (California)
Where we process Sensitive Personal Information for purposes subject to limitation, you may submit a request via the Privacy Center to limit our use and disclosure.
(D) Right to appeal
If we deny your request, you may appeal by following the instructions in our response. If your appeal is denied, you may have the right to contact your state Attorney General.
(E) Financial incentives (California)
We may offer discounts, referral rewards, or loyalty benefits in exchange for providing your email or other personal information. Participation is optional. The material terms (including how to opt in/out and how the value is reasonably related to your data) will be presented at the time of the offer.
(F) Nevada residents
Nevada residents may direct us not to sell their personal information (as defined by Nevada law) by emailing service@ulanzi.com with the subject “Nevada Opt‑Out Request.”
Note on brand entities: For Site operations that are common across brands (e.g., single sign‑on account, support portal, shared checkout), VIJIM LIMITED may jointly determine the means and purposes of processing and share information with each other to provide the Services. Each entity may also process your data independently when you interact directly with its respective brand (e.g., product registration, warranty, or marketing).
